A legend that I had the pleasure of meeting continues to shine. Here is my sketch of her for Playbill when she did "A Lady and Her Music" on Broadway.
Glenn Tunstull was born in New York and raised in Detroit. He studied at Parsons School of Design as a fashion illustrator. He subsequently worked for Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue Magazine, Calvin Klein and Polo/Ralph Lauren, to name a few, before shifting to fine art painting. He has traveled globally, including locals from France, Australia, Brazil and Japan, for many years, utilizing those settings as inspiration for his paintings. He currently teaches art at Parsons School of Design and Marist College and frequently has solo exhibitions in New York and Martha’s Vineyard. The work is represented in private collections in the U.S., Paris, Italy, Brazil and South Africa.
